Process for Registering Your Pool and Spa
According to new laws introduced on 1 December 2019, swimming pool and spa safety came into effect in Victoria whereby it is now mandatory for the owner of land where a swimming pool or spa is located to register your pool and spa with the relevant council. Owners are also required to have their safety barriers inspected and lodge a certificate of barrier compliance with their local council.
The responsibility is for owners to ensure their safety barrier is compliant which requires time, money and paperwork. That’s where AVI Glass Fencing can help you wade through the necessary administration to obtain permits that are required to ensure your pool and spa is compliant.
